Usage Licenses

By buying an item from Twittstrap Marketplace you are actually buying a usage license that you can use in your project. The available licenses are as follow:

Single Usage License

  1. You can use the license within only one project.
  2. You may use the item in work you are creating for your own or for your client.
  3. Item can not redistributed nor resold by you or your client.
  4. If the item contains components, licensing of components must be respected.
  5. If the item uses materials licensed GNU General Public License (GPL), your use of the item is subject to  the active terms of the GPL used by the materials.

Multiple Usage License

  1. Your use of the item may extend to multiple usage.
  2. You may use the item in work which you are creating for your own purposes or for your clients.
  3. Item can not redistributed nor resold by you or your client.
  4. If the item contains components, licensing of components must be respected.
  5. If the item uses materials licensed GNU General Public License (GPL), your use of the item is subject to  the active terms of the GPL used by the materials.

Extended Usage License

This license must be purchased if your intend is to license, sublicense, redistribute, or resell the final product.

  1. Your use of the item may extend to multiple installations.
  2. You may use the item in work which you are creating for your own purposes or for your clients.
  3. You may license, sublicense, redistribute, or resell if:
    1. the item is incorporated into a larger work you have created; or
    2. if you modify the item and resell the end product.
  4. If the item contains components, licensing of components must be respected.
  5. If the item uses materials licensed GNU General Public License (GPL), your use of the item is subject to  the active terms of the GPL used by the materials.

Sellers Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Are sellers required to support the items they upload?

A: Providing support to buyers is a highly encouraged. Support can generate repeat sales from the same  buyerand builds trust, but no you are not required to provide support unless for bugs and issues with your item.

Q: How do sellers get paid?

A: Instant payment are coming soon, for now, payouts will be processed at the end of each calendar month and paid out on the 15th of the following month via PayPal. You must be able to receive money via PayPal to sell on Twittstrap. You will be receiving instant payment for each item you sell through PayPal adaptive payement gateway very soon so watch for it.

Themes submission Guidelines

In order for your item to be listed on Twittstrap Marketplace, you will need to follow the guidelines described below. Make sure you fully read and understand this guide. These guidelines are subject to changes and improvements, so, as rule of thumb, always check before submitting your item. The submission requirements are designed to maintain a minimum standard of quality.

1 CSS Framework

We accepted the following CSS framework to be used in your items

Bootstrap

Foundation

The minimum version for items to be accepted for Bootstrap is version 3. The minimum version for items to be accepted for Foundation is version 5.

1.1 Original CSS framework files must not be altered and should keep its original code.

1.2 Item must follow Bootstrap and Foundation conventions for base HTML elements and use their respective grid system as recommended in their documentation.

1.3 Item must use and restyle the base components of used framework.

1.4 Your item must use one and only one CSS Framework per item.

2 Organization and Naming Convention of Your Item

2.1 Your item must keep your CSS, JavaScript, font, video and image files grouped in folders by type of resources (for example: keep all CSS files within a folder called CSS). You might further organize your asset files within their corresponding folder.

2.2 You must treat your files and folders names as case-sensitive.

2.3 Third-party CSS and JavaScript libraries must preserve their original names.

2.4 Your item must include documentation to help assist the end users during customization and installation.

3 Source Code

3.1 Static HTML templates you must use index.html as the default home page.

3.2 HTML must be valid. You can validate your HTML by using the W3C Markup Validation Service.

3.3 Your item HTML files character encoding must be utf-8.

3.4 Your styles and scripts must not be obfuscated or encrypted.

3.5 Your item must be free of JavaScript errors and console debugging messages.

3.6 Your item must not use third-party libraries without enough change to their appearance.

3.7 Your item must not hotlink assets from third-party servers.

3.8 You must employ comments adequately within your item to help the end users during customization.

3.9 Your source code must use proper indentation and white spacing.

4 Design rules

4.1 Your item must display high visual quality, and should be appealing.

4.2Your item must display properly at widespread mobile device and desktop screen widths.
